37/365. Just Another Ordinary Day. Ferina and I were walking around Luneta Park and we came across some interesting characters. This particular person named “Apo” was used to the occasional tourist trying to take stolen shots of him and when he saw me taking pictures, he willingly sat still while putting on a sad face. After taking a few shots of him, we went up to him to thank him and he seemed to be a very educated person who just didn’t have luck on his side.

36/365. Vrrooom!!! This was the perfect way to start of the new year! Thanks to Aunty Sally for allowing us to play with her brand new “toy” (a Lamborghini Galardo LP560-4). The leather seats, sound of the the V10 engine and acceleration of 100km/hr in 3.6 seconds were orgasmic to all human senses (except for taste, didn’t want to get my dirty saliva on the thing). The Galardo is but only one of Aunty Sally’s toys, she owns another Galardo (the original), a Ferrari 360 Spider, Ferrari F550. Test Drives on the other cars shall be done in the near future. Right Aunty Sally? :P

32/365. Tough Day To Be a Firefighter. On May 13 2010, the Marcos Justice Hall in Laoag City caught fire (for the second time in 5 years). Be it arson or pure karma for the corrupt legal system that pollutes the country, I honestly didn’t care if the building burned down into a pile of rubble or not. At least no one was hurt. Sometimes the ridicule of a justice system of the Philippines just makes me want to puke. This fireman on the other hand, did his job accordingly. But if I were in his shoes, I’d be putting out the fire yet in my dastardly thoughts, I’d be giggling.

It seems like somewhere in the dreams and aspirations of the children of the High School lies a deep urge to succeed in life. Are they given the chance to? Or are they given second rate exposure to life?
